"The finest online wallchart. Those nostalgic for the days of Shoot magazine and “league ladders” have no doubt had their shiny wallchart carefully sellotaped above the widescreen for months. But for the virtual equivalent this is the business - stats galore and some nifty graphics to boot."
FHM.com
"Don't just watch it...Take part yourself by virtually managing your own team selected from any of the 32 competing nations. Plus keep track of the tournament highs and lows and manage your office sweepstakes."
Steve Wright, BBC Radio 2
"The online World Cup Wall Chart is a marvellous invention"

"Download the excellent Fibonacci World Cup wall chart"
Computer Weekly
"It's not quite as thrilling as shouting yourself hoarse on the terraces, or as moving as feeling the blazing oriental sun drying the inevitable tears of disappointment as they cascade down your face, but its the next best thing"
The Guardian
"This team drags ancient tradition into the 21st century..."
Web User
"I've been trying to find a good comprehensive way to track all the games and all the players in the World Cup. The official site is great, but there's really no easy way to see who's playing who on any given day. The World Cup Wall Chart gives me everything I want all in one easy place. It's a great tool"
Mike Lastort, Moderator at BigSoccer.com

MORE Details on the Features of the 2006 Online World Cup Chart:
Scores
You can either enter the scores yourself or click to download them. Either way, the Wall Chart will automatically update group tables and knockout progressions.
As well as the final scores you can record (or download) when the goals are scored, and who by; and when it gets to the later stages this includes all the penalty shoot out details. |
 |
Information
To make sure you know what's happening, the Wall Chart includes information about all of the teams and the venues for the games. Wherever possible we've also provided a link to a web site for more details.
As each team announces its final squad, the players details will be available to download to the Wall Chart, together with profiles of the ones to watch. |
 |
Stats and Analysis
Every time you enter or download results, the Wall Chart calculates a mass of stats. By team, by group, by player, group stage or knockout only, totals, averages...
The Wall Chart comes with a load of prepared stats tables, but you can create your own custom tables as well. |
 |
Scenarios
A scenario is a completely separate set of results that you can enter yourself and play "what if".
This means that before it all kicks off you can start with a clean sheet and run the whole World Cup as many times as you like until it comes out right!
Once the football has started you can start a scenario at any time from the current state of the teams, and run it forward to see what might happen.
You can do this as often as you like without affecting the real results, and we've included a couple of fun scenarios to get you going. |
 |
Your Wall Chart
If your team is in the World Cup, select it and the Wall Chart will highlight it throughout (you can choose the colour as well).
And everybody has a second team ( Brazil ? Unless you're Brazilian!). Select it, give it a different colour and it will be tracked too.
Tell the Wall Chart where you live and the game schedule will be adjusted so you know exactly when each game takes place. |
 |
Sweeps
Run the office/pub/club sweepstake with the Wall Chart. Choose from loads of options (best/worst defence/attack, boring/entertaining teams, golden boot, winner, ...) or just make up your own.
The Wall Chart will keep track of who's got what in the sweep, and who's paid up. You can even publish the whole thing on your web site with our dynamically generated web site. |
 |
Easter Egg
An Easter Egg is hidden in the Wall Chart. If you find it, you can play a retro Pong game, but with "rush goalies". Once you've mastered the game, challenge a friend to play the whole World Cup in Pong. If you follow the instructions in the Wall Chart's help, it will automatically record the scores of each of the 64 games, with all the same stats and analysis of the real thing. |
 |
