| When fugitives are arrested
by the U.S. Marshals Service, including drug dealers, money
launderers, car thieves, and white collar criminals, the felons'
personal property is often forfeited or ordered sold by federal
court order.
Online and in all 50 states the U.S. Marshals Service
offers property for sale to the public which has been forfeited
under laws enforced or administered by the United States Department
of Justice, its investigative agencies (Drug Enforcement Administration,
Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Immigration and Naturalization
Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms), and certain other
federal law enforcement agencies.
