Letter from Elaine Krieg Smith
Hi!
I have been selling
children's books on eBay since 2000.
In my early days I
was often overwhelmed at book sales and thrift stores because of the
large number of books. I knew there were children's books that
sold for $30, $50, even hundreds! But which ones were they?
I learned by trial and error. Mostly error. I brought home stacks of books time and time
again only to find that 95% of them were not worth the trouble to list.
Have you ever done this?
Research is key
I soon learned that it made more sense to
learn the titles of the valuable books BEFORE I shopped. I began
spending hour after hour looking at closed auctions on eBay until my
eyes glazed over.
It took a long time but I slowly began
to learn the titles of the valuable books. I can now go to
a sale and bring back 95% winners.
I buy far fewer books but
make much more profit!
Booksellers Quiz
How well do you know this niche? Can you match the prices to the books?
These four books closed the same day on
eBay. Their prices were: $14.05, $20, $261.89 and
$10.75. And MOST importantly do you know which one sold for
$261.89? Books go fast at library booksales - you need to
choose quickly!

You win, I win
While doing all this research, I discovered that I
really love it. I love to record it, analyze it
and organize it. But the more research I do, the less time I
have to create auctions.
To solve this dilemma, I decide to make
my research available to you. This will allow me to keep doing
what I love and at the same time replace some of the income that is
lost from placing fewer auctions.
eBay Research
Handed to You on a Silver Platter
We do the work - you reap the rewards.
You can learn which books are valuable the long, slow way like I did
or you can . . .
-
SAVE TIME!!!
You can benefit from our several hundred hours of
research. We spend 10-15 hours a week just doing the research,
then another 5 hours organizing the data. YOU can spend
that twenty hours bookhunting or listing!
-
SAVE MONEY!!!
Stop passing over valuable books. Stop setting your BIN or starting price too low because of the limited
price info that is available on collectible books. Part of what we
analyze is pricing strategies - what works best for each book.
We share these discoveries with you.
We are building a massive data base of titles and prices.
On eBay you can only search back two weeks. The best
research tools only go back 90 days. We have been
recording data for almost two years. Patterns are
beginning to emerge.

"Just a few days after I
downloaded MO$T Valuable Children's Picture Books, I picked
up a copy of Lazy Liza Lizard and Disney's Uncle
Remus at a local flea market. The Disney sold for $42
and Lazy Liza sold for $202. I would have probably bought
Uncle Remus even if I hadn't bought your list, because I'd
owned a copy myself as a child and the pictures are great,
but I wouldn't even have glanced at Lazy Liza Lizard
because it was in really bad condition. Thanks so much!"

Learn how to spot 'hidden
treasures' in children's books
that
can make you huge profits on eBay!
My two sons have joined me in this endeavor. We are
compiling all of the research into three volumes. We organized
the information in a way that will make it easiest for you while you
are out shopping. Three different volumes for:
-
Antique/vintage books (published 1850 -
1930)
-
Books for younger children (Picture
Books)
-
Books for older children/young adults
(Fiction/Series).
We found that books are grouped this way at book
sales. If you have three people shopping, you can give each a
guide for his own area! Usually the first one there gets the
best books.
With our three guides you will have ALL the
top titles in children's books. If it is not on our list,
chances are good it is not worth $30 or more.
"I do count on your
info every time I go book hunting! Prior to subscribing
to your list, I would always bring home lots of
children's books only to find out they were not worth
much monetarily. . . . I am a new subscriber to your
list, but have already saved so much money by knowing
what not to pick up! I think that is important, too. I
have found some books illustrated by Tasha Tudor. If it
weren't for your list, I would have passed them by. I
can't wait to see the Antique Book List. "

Sale 10-24 Harlequins | Premiership match report
Sale 10-24 Harlequins The consequence of this and results elsewhere mean that Harlequins have sealed first place in the Premiership, and with it a home semi-final in the play-offs, while Sale, courtesy of Bath's entirely predictable failure to secure a five-point return at Leicester, will play in next season's Heineken Cup. Would that it were quite that simple. Sale played impressively well in ...
