During the last four years all leading cruise lines have doubled their fleets and number of employees! Many new cruise ship companies have sprang up in an effort to get their share from the international cruise market explosion. With the amount of cruise vessels currently under construction, the English speaking, worldwide cruise line work force is expected to triple by the year 2009.
Between 2000 and 2004, major cruise lines launched 62 new cruise ships! Each cruise ship employs between 500 and 1,500 crew members and support staff. That means over the last four years over 55,000 new cruise ship jobs have been created! In addition, cruise lines are planning to introduce another 22 new cruise ships over the next four years creating over 40,000 more cruise line jobs. With the exception of only one ship, every cruise ship scheduled to launch over the next four years is a "mega" ship carrying over 2,000 passengers. Royal Caribbean International is scheduled to launch their 4,370 passenger Freedom of the Seas cruise ship this May (2006). This ship alone will need about 2,000 employees!
There’s no industry quite like the Cruise Industry!
The cruise ship industry has one of the largest job growth factors in the world. Five to ten new luxury cruise ships are being built every year, and with this growth factor many job opportunities exist for the right candidates.
Cruise ship staff receive many perks and benefits which include:
- Free room on the cruise ship
- Free meals
- Air travel en-route and homeward bound
- Free laundry
- Free medical insurance
- Crew member discounts on shoreside shopping, excursions, and restaurants
- Reduced price cruise vacations for family and friends
In 2006, cruise lines and their support industries will need to hire over 25,000 new employees! This in addition to the thousands of jobs that need to be staffed due to normal industry turnover.
Many people consider working on a cruise ship the perfect way to meet new and interesting people, travel the world, save money, and begin an exciting international lifestyle, yet they soon discover...
"that getting a job on a cruise ship is insanely difficult"
Many scramble night and day to find anything that can help them. But frustrating searches on the internet only turned-up 'shady' looking websites selling nothing but outdated addresses... phone numbers that didn't work... websites that no longer existed...and lots of false promises. And so-called agencies "guaranteed" them a job... but ONLY if they paid a hefty fee!
"Many spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars, and waste many many months surfing the Internet trying to get a job on a cruise ship. Don't make those same mistakes!
"
You see, cruise lines hire 9,000 to 15,000 new staff PER YEAR just to keep up with all the new ships being launched and the turnover ratios. And yet the account of many who attempt to secure a job on their own reflect the inability to get an interview!
As you can imagine working a cruise ship involves a lifestyle that many people jump at when the opportunity is presented. The employee referral system along with cruise ship recruitment agencies who conduct staffing on behalf of cruise ships and onboard concessionaires are paid up to $3,000.00 per new hire or a percentage of the new hire’s salary, these incentives provide a steady stream of job candidates.
To personalize my point, on December 15th 2005 from 8pm to 10:30 pm , my dear friend had drinks with the individual responsible for Fleet wide Human Resource Recruitment for one of the worlds largest cruise line companies here in Miami. During the course of their job placement oriented conversation my friend asked, “how many applications does your department receive each day? The candid reply given was “about 1,000 per day from 140 nationalities and at least 60 different countries throughout the world” Get the point! Without what I am offering you here, how would you begin to compete within that environment and honestly expect to succeed?
Unless you know someone who works on a ship who is willing to vouch for you as a referral, or unless you know someone who is prepared to get you in through a Global Hiring Network such as me good luck!
I personally know individuals who have paid up to $2,000.00 just to get a job on a cruise ship. I also know people who have paid hundreds of dollars for the possibility (no guarantee) of getting a cruise ship job! On the subject of cruise ship jobs, plenty of weak websites can be found by a basic google or random search engine search. You’ll find much garbage online on this topic, offering you a book with no direct or current industry hiring access! Most of these are written by ex crew members, with no current or professional credible access to anyone hiring today! I’m sure you would agree… Reading stories from old crew members sharing experiences of how great things were when they worked on a cruise ship doesn’t help you get a cruise ship job!
The term “Network” implies active participation from individuals of a group. In fact, a network that doesn’t interact is simply a directory! I’ve seen many of these weak cruise ship jobs “directories” offered online for ridiculous amounts of money! I write in a way that is clear, quick and tight. No need for fluff or filling pages. If you want results and clear direction within minutes of downloading A permanent Vacation then you are wise and will be rewarded.
I’ll put you in direct touch with a 12 year old Global hiring network that hires for cruise ships and promotes the growing cruise industry. They’ve been involved with this for over 12 years, and over 50 years of combined cruise industry hiring experience exist within this network! I’ve already arranged it so you will receive priority treatment when you submit your job application. How much more simple could that be!
Why do certain cruise industry hiring directors prefer people like myself with a hostelling background? I discovered (from an internal cruise industry human resources memo) that an emphasis by certain cruise industry hiring directors profiled for preference; desired “student minded people” with “hostelling backgrounds” According to this internal memo….These are individuals that fit a unique profile. “Educated, intelligent, individualistic, action motivated free-thinkers with a global perspective”.
 |
The solution to your problems with securing a cruise ship job if you have a hostelling outlook and worldview is clearly and concisely, provided to you in a quick easy to follow e-book guide.
Benefit from current insider information from me, Damien Caldera. I began traveling the world with a Hostel membership before changing course into the cruise ship industry! For me this was a transition from being a student wanderer and self proclaimed world citizen, to having the perfect permanent working vacation!

When you order this special New Report, "The Official Hosteller’s Guide To Working Onboard A Cruise Ship, A Permanent Vacation" you will be given an order confirmation number.
This order confirmation number will DOUBLE as your Preferred Access application number to a specific Global Cruise Industry Hiring network, active in global cruise ship hiring for over 12 years! The owner of this hiring company is a dear close personal friend of mine. With this number presented with your application, I guarantee you won't be ignored! Use my name Damien Caldera as your referral on your application, and provide your order confirmation number on the application, this guarantees that your application will be processed in a flash and will be given serious review and consideration for immediate cruise ship job placement.
And it doesn't matter where you are in the world, the hiring group that I will refer you to arranges all necessary employment and immigration documents for you regardless of where you are in the world! The company is a backbone of a Global Cruise ship job hiring network which has been hiring people to work on cruise ships for over 12 years! People are hired from over 60 nationalities worldwide. As a result of ongoing fleet expansion and growth factor projections, there is a major push underway to hire a lot of quality people by this network.
The best part is the company usually hires from an application, a photo and a telephone interview! Most of the times they never even meet or see you directly! Unless you are applying for an executive position, it is on a rare occasion that you will be asked to visit the corporate office for a face to face interview. Send them an application, a recent photo, and present yourself well over the phone and you could be embarking on your career in paradise, sailing the high seas to lots of money, lots of fun, and lots of adventure!
