New SSN Validator Launches!

Social security numbers can now be validated online, in real time, for free at our new website, SSNvalidator.com! The purpose of the site is to allow investigators and others to determine if a social security number might be fraudulent.

The search pulls data from Social Security Administration records including over 75 million death filings and hard-to-find "date of issuance" dates. It also determines state of issuance and whether or not the number has been issued.

In addition, search results also contain exclusive proprietary information on certain problems SSNs associated with fraud or other potential misuse. For example, by running a social security number with the prefix 777, one learns  that the pre-fix has been used as a substitute identifier by many colleges and universities for foreign students who do not have a real SSN.

For privacy reasons, SSN Validator search results do not contain the names or addresses of SSN holders -- this is why it is referred to as a SSN "validation", not a "verification".

SSNvalidator.com allows unregistered users to check three SSNs per day for free. To check more than three per day, a pay-to-use account is required.
